Description of 1953 International Harvester Other

1953 International R165 Grain Truck. Runs and drives. Excellent rust free cab. Selling with No Reserve to the highest bidder. Can ship anywhere.
This large 16,000lb example of the R Series truck is in good shape for its age. The motor runs real good and it drives pretty well. The manual transmission and 2 speed rear end shifts great. The cab is rust free. Comes with a spare door and the door glass that is missing in the photos.
It needs a windshield and the tires would need replacing to drive on the road as are very old and worn. Although they hold air and are fine for using around the farm. Also there is no key so would need to get one of those cut if you wish to start it with a key. And there is a dent on the grille & hood as can be seen in the photos.
It has just been driven around our land for the past few years. I have had it up to 50mph several times and it drives nice.
