Description of 1973 International Harvester Scout

You are bidding on a 1973 International Scout ii. The Scouts certainly have a following and. due to their rarity. tend to start up a good conversation. This truck comes from South Carolina. so the body was already solid before going through a refresh to bring her to her current beauty. It's fun to drive and I'm continually amazed at the number of people that go out of their way to shout "nice truck". or give a "thumbs up" as I drive around town. You can't pull up to a gas pump without answering a few questions and for me that makes it an extremely fun truck to drive! The following has been done:Newer two tone paintNew safari soft top(roll up the sides. snap it down. or take it completely off!)Dash and gauges done in matte blackBoth bench seats were completely refurnished and reupholstered The carpet was removed and the entire floor/bed was sprayed with a linerThe seals and chrome was either replaced. or in good shapeIt has new front and rear custom bumpers. mean to pull and tow!It has a set of new wheels wrapped in some great multipurpose tiresNewer Alternator/bracketBelts were changeThis truck has the larger 345 engine that is running strong. Anyone that knows the drive train on these. knows that the dana front and rear end make them torque monsters. 4 speed manualShe's beautiful and will turn heads. If she were any nicer you wouldn't want to driver her! I've tried to include a lot of pictures.
