Description of 1967 International Harvester Scout SPORTOP

SEE My other listings coming up as I'm selling my entire international harvester collection . 2 Vehicles in total all listed separate over the next few days . This SPORTOP is all complete original interior correct and there. no known missing items . It does need some upholstery work done and the scout needs to be restored . That was my intention just didn't get to it . I bought it in Prescott AZ and trailer ed it to phx then stored it till it went to storage yard where it is now. It's just not feasible to pay storage on these vehicles . I'm starting with listing the sportop and am adding more every day . The sportop is a very desirable scout to own and only very few have complete original interiors and exteriors . Mine is missing the Continental kit with hub cap but those are available if you search around for them to make this one 100% correct . The nice custom cattle guard was done very well and adds good protection to the scout . The scout does have the 4 hub caps included in it two open front. two full for the rear . decent shape . I personally want to tell you everything about the sportop so you have the same knowledge as me to make your decision . I feel honesty is the best policy. So mentioning that The sportop has some damage to rear quarter panel passenger side and back at the body by passenger bumperette minimal . The 1/4 panel does show body filler where its pop'd out . And has some rust along lower passenger side by rocker panel typical of scout. And rear tailgate has rust it looks like at hinge area but underneath and all the drivers side has no known or visible rust. rockers look good both side front pans look good . ust the few areas mentioned are affected. I have never attempted to try and startup the sportop but everything seems to be there and complete so with usual maintenous . park plugs caps . luids the usual gas tank then the scout should perform . Not sure off eng displacement but 4cly and its all there . One wheel needs to be change prior to delivery . ts one off my scout and will supply a different one in its place. Paint is faded but looks good except where damage is No other dents or anything else . Could be that gem in the ruff thats how I saw it . I have 12 vehicles I'll be listing over the next few days . ONE SCOUT RALLY 78 / One travelette 2 wheel drive 3/4 ton complete and two trucks one 4x4 200 one camper special 200 75 /74 ? 4 travelalls one my family owned since 77 its a 75 captain chairs yellow wood paneled sides 345 92 eng all complete needs complete restoration as is with all my vehicles Very straight with some minor rust at wheel wells but no place else . None are daily drivers some could be with a little work others a lot of work just for your knowledge. [ 2and a 1/2 ] parts vehicles probably go to a multi car purchaser there is a 78 scout and a 7?travelall 4x4 wrecked front end and a beater scout 1970 345 eng but shows a lot of body damage . omething you'd get running for the beach type should be fairly complete. Each listing will be with each vehicle in a few days Thanks for viewing and please ask questions as I'm glad to answer them. Mike or call me 602 432 43one8 mountain standard time [ please ] and text me also anytime . good luck bidding!!!!!On Jan-31-15 at 08:15:30 PST. seller added the following information: Howdy I wanted to add that car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel auction at any time. PS Will be adding more vehicles today and as for the SPORTOP I wanted to add that I noticed that I had forgotten to bring up the dash is opened up probably for them to access the gauges it seems to be complete though. Again don't hesitate to get hold of me to answer any questions or concerns you have . Once again good luck bidding !!!!!. On Jan-31-15 at 15:17:52 PST. seller added the following information: I wanted to add I'm uploading some more detailed pictures of the whole SPORTOP . and should have them up tonight or tomorrow Wanted to add the original interiors are almost non existent to find so hopefully my sportop will be the better one and they will win this one . Just my opinion though so good luck to all bidders Mike W
