Description of 1935 International Harvester Other

1935 International Model C1 pickup street rod project. I have not worked on this project for a couple of years and now need the space. This is a no reserve auction and will sell to the highest bidder. You must come and get this within 30 days of auction end. A $200 non-refundable deposit through paypal is required from the highest bidder within 48 hours of the auction end. The remainder of payment to be paid in cash at the time of pickup.

Original truck had wooden framing in cab. I was building a cab from outside sheet metal.

Cab work done:

Top chopped 3”

Rear window chopped 1” and centered in rear panel

Cab channeled 3” over frame

Door hinges changed to suicide

Cowl structure welded complete with 4 frame mounts

Three rear cab panels welded together

Dash relocated rearward to allow for defroster ducts

Wipers installed into cowl

New Flaming River column

New Autometer gauges fitted to dash

Mounts fabricated for brake pedal, column, wipers, and master cylinder

Front and rear windows modified for glue in glass

Floor panels from 16 ga steel to front post fabricated. Tunnel made for 700R4 automatic transmission.

Rear posts with hinge mounts fabricated

Passenger door inner panel fabricated

Rear cab mounts and structure fabricated

Frame work done:

Fat man front suspension completely welded in

Moser 9” housing and 31 spline axles

Rear 4 bar completely welded in except for panhard bar mounts

Frame boxed where engine mounts and suspension mounts

Remaining frame boxing plates fabricated

Chevy small block mounts welded in

Wheelbase shortened from 125” to 116”

4 wheel disc brakes

Other stuff:

Fiberglass 1937 Ford rear fenders

Front fenders finished

Running boards shortened

Complete original hood

New Specialty power windows and wiper mechanisms

Powder coated wheels

New dash switches and inside and outside door handles

Guide headlights

New Aldan coil over rear shocks

9” Ford posi gear assembly with 31 splines

New Wilwood master cylinder

Later set of all steel doors in very poor condition. I used only the inside window frameon the passenger door.

Virginia title in my name

This is where I stopped. Lots of work done. Lots of work left to do. Many new parts. It would not be wise to move this truck on an open trailer. The roof and rear panel are not solidly mounted in place.

Answers to frequently asked questions:

Q: What would it take for you to end this auction and sell this truck to me?

A: It would take you standing in my garage with more cash in your hand than the highest current bid. Quite possibly significantly more.

Q: Is there a buy it now price?

A: No

Q: Would you be interested in a trade?

A: No

Q: Do you have any original parts left over that you want to sell?

A: No

If you ask any of these or similar questions I will likely not respond, however I may reply with something unkind. I will be out of town through April 10th and may be somewhat slow to answer questions; especially what I consider stupid ones. I can supply additional photos of the additional parts that come with the truck to serious bidders. Ebay will only allow 24 photos.
