Description of 1955 International Harvester Other

This 1955 International Pickup has been customized. lowered and tricked out with Chevy V8. A/C. powesteering and power 4 wheel disc brakes! This is an awesome truck that you hardly ever see. There will be Chevys. Fords. and maybe some GMC's at the local car cruise or show. but you will probably be the only International truck there! The truck rides great and is a blast to drive. The truck is an original Arizona truck. which means no rust! The paint on the truck is a single stage and has a good shine. There are a few spots that have been touched up and there are a few spots that havent. The body of the truck also that has a few spots that are dinged/ dented that werent fixed before paint. I would rate the body and paint a 7 out 10. The interior has been completely reupholstered and looks very good. Has a Clarion AM/FM CD player installed with speakers on the kick panels and behind the seat. Under the dash there is a Arizona Mobile A/C and heat dash unit which works great! The motor is a Chevy 350 V8 with a Turbo 400 Transmission bolted to it. The truck starts right up with no hestitation and goes down the road with no problems. With power steering and power brakes. this truck is a joy to drive! On the road. the truck drives and brakes straight with no fade to either side. The underside and chasis of the truck is very solid with no rot. The front end has a had a Gm front clip grafted on to it to cradle the V8 and give it the disc brakes and A-arm suspension for a great ride with pleanty of power. The rear axle has disc brake Gm rear end with 3. 73 gears for nice throttle response and great hiway crusing speed. Truck has had all four tires replaced and balanced as of Jan. 2015 The original title showed that the date of being registered from the factory was 9/1955 in the state of Arizona. The truck lived in Arizona until 2002 and has been in Oregon area since 2003. This is a great classic truck that gets a lot of attention and looks where ever you go! Note: Payment info. Non-refundable 500. 00 deposit. will only except cashiers check or direct wire transfer for remaining balance.
