Description of 1980 International Harvester Scout

1980 Scout II "Midas Edition" 345 motor with 4 speed trans and Air Condition.
This is a Georgia Scout and its a 2 owner Scout. I bought her to do a full restoration on it but the more I drive her and look at her I just can't bring my self to do it. She is Perfect the way she is with Original Interior, Original Paint as well as motor and trans. She has working A/c and all the lights and gages work as they should. The only things that are not original are the Radio,suspension and wheels and tires on this truck. Suspension has been totally redone and upgraded with early 80's Chevy 1/2 ton running gear and over under steering with brand new springs and shocks. This Scout is Turn key and go as she sits and she is sitting on brand new 35 inch Tires. As far as the details on the Midas Edition please google it but I think what makes it super cool is the interior design and the swivel front seats with dual arm rest and the full reclining rear seats that make into a bed. Maybe its Scouts idea of a camper edition? None the less I have never come across another one. I have taken several walk around and start up videos. PLEASE! Ask for the videos before you bid. I am so tired of people winning my auctions with out reading and looking first. This Scout is super solid and the only rust is in plain sight "on the front of hood and a fewsurface spots on thepassengerdoor and a quarter size spot on the inner rocker.
