Description of 1958 International Harvester Other

Relisted ItemWe. too. understand the siren song of the Buy It Now button and the little shot of adrenaline that you get when you click on it. However. we also enjoy seeing a lucky bidder bring their checkbook along on the adventure. Please do us a courtesy and only say you are going to purchase the truck if. in fact. you are going to purchase the truck. It just works out better for everyone that way. -----------------------------Own a truck that makes a statement. This 1958 International A120 "Anniversary" body style brings a bulldog stance and clean lines to the table. With factory four wheel drive and upgraded hubs. wheels and tires. this truck is ready to roll over some bumpy stuff. If you're looking for a classic truck that stands out from all of the Chevy. Ford and Dodge rolling stock out there. this one is for you!EngineSmooth-running Black Diamond six cylinder gas engine has been gone over. carb tuned. wiring simplified. and 6 volt generator replaced with a 12 volt alternator. Exact mileage is just a guess but the truck fires right up. warm or cold. and idles like a sewing machine. As far as we know. the valve seats haven't been replaced with hardened versions so you'll want to add lead substitute from the local auto supply when you fill up the tank. TransmissionThis truck was built when men were men and men rowed their own straight-cut gears with little bit of patience and a touch of class. The four-speed transmission comes with a granny gear for rolling over really bumpy stuff. pulling stumps out of the ground. or any time you aren't in a hurry to get somewhere. The other three are for getting to town to fill back up with gas (or take your best girl to the movie house on a Saturday night). BodyThe cab is pretty straight and solid. as you can see from the pictures. The doors are hung straight. there isn't any body cancer lurking under floor mats. the cab corners are good. and there aren't too many love taps from life on the ranch. The bed is 100% dent-free and spotless. we just have no idea where it is. Probably up in Truck Heaven. So we opted to bolt a bike rack on the back to haul our mountain bike along on our adventures. You can do whatever you'd like with it. Consider it a blank canvas. Rolling StockThe wheels and tires have been upgraded from the stock split-rim (widow makers) wheels and skinny bias-ply tires with beefy 6-lug steel wheels and Goodyear Wrangler R/T 36x12. 50-16. 5 Military tires. PaperworkAs is the case with a lot of old trucks. we don't have the title for this truck. However. he do have the State of Texas inspection paperwork and a current inspection sticker. With a bill of sale. you can get a bonded title for it. a process we would be happy to assist with.
