Description of 1952 International Harvester L-122 Longbed Pickup

1952 International Harvester L-122 Longbed Pickup
Classic original red International Harvester L-122 3/4 ton longbed (8 ft.) pickup, a truck for hard work. Has 100,480 miles on the title, with an additional 900 miles driven by seller since 2008 purchase. Silver Diamond 220 cu. in. inline six cylinder engine runs well. Has heavy-duty T-9 transmission with 4 speeds forward plus reverse, floor shift. Removable wood cattle and metal sides and a grain door in the tailgate. Split rear window. The interior is equipped with turn signals, an AM radio, a below-dash heater, push-button (jeep-type) startup, and the Kansas farmer’s local 1994 calendar on dash. Rebuilt starter and 5 brand new split-rim tires.
In good working condition but not currently drivable as 6-volt battery is dead and Carter YF carburetor needs cleanup (kit included). Owner’s manual, original IHC repair guides and parts catalog included. Very little rust except bed and cab floor (inside).
Buyers can contact seller's mechanic (located 5 miles from seller), who has maintained/driven the truck and had it inspected. Seller, who is second owner after purchase of this “barn find” via broker, has all maintenance records. Clear title from seller and original owner’s title, VIN 25971.
Winning bidder is welcome to arrange on-site inspection by buyer, mechanic, or buyer’s agent (with identification). Full payment due within seven calendar days of auction close. On-site inspections may be performed within this period of time.
Vehicle is being offered for sale “as is, where is”, no warranties or guarantees. Non-refundable deposit of $500.00 required within 24 hours of listing close. Full payment can be made in cash or by certified bank check upon vehicle pick up. Buyer is responsible for arranging transportation of truck off site.
