Description of 1986 Isuzu Trooper

Up for bid is a low milage Isuzu Trooper II. It has the LS trim package. Less than 60,000 miles. The truck spent most of its life on Block Island im guessing. Still has the original windshield which is amazing. The frame and body are solid with one small patch in the rear and dents and dings as well as some quick body patches near the windshield and roof. The drivers seat is worn. I just had a new clutch, weber carb, spark plugs, cap rotor and wires put on. Has a new alternator and new power steering line. The gas tank has been repaired, and new relays for the ignition installed. the brakes work great, the transmission shifts great, and with the new carb, it runs beautiful. I changed the oil recently. And has new transmission oil in it. It comes with the original owners manual, as well as old registrations from Block Island, Rhode Island.
Its in amazing shape for a New England Trooper, I bought it as a non running parts truck but quickly realized it had such low miles, and was in such good shape for its age that I decided to fix it up. These trucks are getting rare, so it should only go up in value. Just needs a new owner that will put some body work and paint and a little interior tlc to get it back to like new. Or you can simply put a camo paint job on it make it into a zombie apocalypse bug out vehicle, or just run it like it is. I got it running great and able to pass inspection with ease.
The speedometer does work, so it being an island truck for years would explain the low mileage. The tires are in good shape. I have more pics if you need. Any questions feel free to ask. The Trooper runs great but it does have dents and could use body work and paint as well as other minor things as a 30 year old truck would have. It was on the road a couple years ago in Vermont where I got it from, but had been sitting for a bit. I do have the original grille emblem but needs the plastic tangs plastic welded or glued back on. The exhaust is newer and comes out before the rear wheel. It has the original AM/FM cassette stereo that works fine. The rear spare is the one that came with it when it was new. The roof rack is missing but the air dam in the back is there, it was flaking so I sanded it down but never painted it.
I reserve the right to sell locally.
Thanks for looking.
