Description of 1990 Jaguar XJS XJ12 Convertable Coupe

Classic 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible With NO RESERVE
103k, 12. Fully optioned including heated leather seats and newer Jaguar boot cover. Mechanically the Jag has always been maintained on schedule. Recent work includes KYB shocks all around (four in the back and two in the front, ll brakes including rear brakes (lots of labor to do the rear brakes on this model), ront end work including most of the bushings and tie rod boots, xhaust system and Pirelli tires.
The Jag got a new interior about 4 years ago including seat leather, ushioning, arpet, oor panel upholstery, isors and wood trim, t still smells new inside. Convertible top replaced in 2009 with premium canvas top with glass back window with defroster, nner pads and headliner, ew weatherstripping on windshield pillars and on convertible top. The top got a couple of approximately 14 inch slashes across the width above the seats while it was parked in NYC about a month ago. The cuts were shallow and the inner headliner is fine, as beenprofessionallyrepaired and is onlynoticeableup close. The paint looks new with a deep gloss, o fading, cratches or bubbling anywhere, t's always been garaged.
Remarkably quiet inside the car on the highway when top is up and windows are closed. Top goes up easily along with rear quarter windows automatically. Nice modern stereo with Ipod control and remote and three ignition keys. The cruise control is intermittent and heated seats have not worked since I got the car, haven't looked into it. The a/c blows nice and cold but does need a fresh can every couple of weeks during the summer. It's easy to do, nly takes about five minutes, will including a charging hose with pressuregauge. Classic insurance for the Jaguar is values at $28k for $190 a year, ull comprehensive.
Engine starts easily, ruises nicely on the highway, olds the road perfectly with a velvety feel to the suspension. Runs very strong, racks straight as an arrow and brakes evenly, o pulling or fading. All directional/brake/turn signal/headlights and horn work. Shifts smoothly, tops easily and the suspension is luxurious. Drives overall like a European roadster should. Always garaged, he Jag is perfectlycleanunderneath; floors and trunk completely solid, oes not even show surface rust. We just had a baby and we don't drive it nearly enough. Only selling due to finances, itle is in my name.Always gets compliments whenever we take it out. No reserve price set, op bidder gets the Jag.
Fun to drive and will only appreciate in value. 914-224-3230
