Description of 1989 Jaguar XJS

If you are in the market for a very nice, ollectible, nd fast appreciating car that is a blast to drive, ou have to take a look at this car. I am sadly selling our 1989 XJ-SC convertible that car that has been in our family since May of 2001. The car was bought new at Dale Schumacher (British Motor Car Distributors, TD) in San Francisco, A on September 15th, 989. It lived in California until my father in law bought it for my mother in law in 2001. They looked forever for an XJS with this color combination (very hard to find) and options (such as power steering, ower brakes, ir conditioning, ower windows, ower door locks, ower top, ilt, ruise, eather, D player, tc). At the time of purchase, he car has just a shade over 62k on the ODO. In the last few years, y father in law has passed and my mother in law can no longer get in and out of the car comfortably. The car has not been driven and just sits in the garage. So, e are finally letting go of it. The car has a clean Oregon title. It has had no accidents, ody work, lways been stored inside when not in use, nd adult driven. In the last 250 miles, e have had the most well-known Jaguar repair shop in the state inspect and repair items from sitting, he Jag Shop of Portland, regon. Some of the replaced items include: clean connections for main crankshaft position sensor, epair 2 fuel injector wires, eplace brake pads and rotors, epack front wheel bearings, eplace loose throttle shaft bushings, djust linkages,

repaired the power steering rack (including rack boots and tower seals), nstalled a new distributor cap, otor, park plugs, nd wires. In addition, just put brand-new tires on the car along with a battery. Knowing potential buyers may be interested in having an inspection on the car, literally picked it from the shop yesterday (8-3-15) from the Jag Shop where they inspected the car and completed the tune-up. Therefore, his car is ready to drive! Unlike many British cars for sale, his car HAS had the costly repairs done professionally. Why buy a different car and then spend another few thousand on repairs of suggested maintenance?
The body and paint on the car is very good. The paint shines well and definitely is an eye-catcher. It does have a few minor scratches and minor door dings as expected from a 26 year old car. However, hey are barely noticeable due to the forgiving white paint. Meanwhile, he red interior is in very nice shape. The wood grain is excellent as is the dash. The seats have some wear but look and feel nice. The doors open and close well and do not sag. I put new shocks on the hood and it works excellent. The tires and brakes are new. The wheels could use some cleaning but present well. Lastly, he convertible top is free of rips or tears. The power top works excellent.
If you have additional questions or would like to chat with me about the car, lease call (503)703-4065. Please note, he car is being sold as-is, here-is with no warranty, uarantees, r set-asides for future repairs. I hope the car will last for 150000 more miles with no issues. However, cannot guarantee it. I would highly encourage one to come test drive this and see for yourself why this car is becoming so collectible. I will gladly assist to pick you up from the airport, ssist with shipping, r help in any way I can. I am not a sales-person or mechanic. I am just trying to help out my mother in law! Comparable XJS convertibles are selling for $12-15+k. I am pricing this VERY competitively to move it. This is a lot of car for under $10k! Thanks for looking.
