Description of 1969 Jaguar E-Type

Looking to own a piece of history? Not since Joe Namath and the New York Jets won the Super Bowl in 1969 has this car looked this good. This Beautiful E-Type has undergone a pains taking revamping over the last 18 years and has been my labor of love. The series II are considered by many to be the best and most reliable E-Types in the line with accolades ranking the car as #1 of the 100 most beautiful cars of all time. I have used top quality parts from XKs Unlimited in all the repairs. The engine was rebuilt in 2005 and only has 200 miles on it since that time. Stromberg Carburetors were rebuilt at a cost of $700 last year. The interior includes new leather, arpeting, eadliner and door panels, ll done in the most meticulous care in 2014. The car was resprayed in 2007 with all new seals and rubber kit throughout.

This car has a sorrowful past with the original owner, harles K Freeman, uying the car in May of 1970 and spending some time in Arkansas before being shipped out from the naval academy in Annapolis to Vietnam where he lost his life. His parents, n their grief put the car in a warehouse and that is where I found it 28 years later.

The 44,000 mile are all original. We have all the initial documentation with the Capital Motors Buyers Order and warranty card, egistrations and a letter to Charles from his close friend congratulating him on his Naval Service appointment. Even the selling salesman's business card. Vehicle comes with original operating, aintenance and service handbook along with the complete Jaguar E Type Service Manual.

There is no rust on the car and all numbers are matching. Air Conditioning is a Plus since so few had this option in 1969.
