It was recently removed from storage and brought to a local Jaguar Restoration company for  them to assess, valuate and appraise. That is why at Classic Cars Online, ur listings will go over and show every area of the vehicle that is up for  auction. Description: This '69 Jaguar XKE is a series II "Fixed Head Coupe". (FHC) It is a "Left Hand Drive" (LHD). This coupe is only showing 22,191 miles on the odometer. These are  believed to be the original miles. The factory numbers on the drivetrain have been checked, nd this is a matching number vehicle. (Original engine, tc...) The  vehicle still retains the twin Strombergs carburetors. It is equipped with Air Condition. The 4.2 litre engine is currently locked up. The restoration shop is  soaking the cylinders at this time. As you can see from the photos, ehicle has rust issues in certain areas and will need to be addressed. This is a good candidate  for a full restoration. The car was repainted once in the 1970's where at that point, he door handles and emblems where removed. (Shaved. This customization was  pretty typical back then.) The leather interior looks to be all intact and still there including the factory wood steering wheel.
