Description for Jaguar XJS 1989

For Sale: Respectable reserveRed 1989 2 door coupe Jaguar XJS Convertible. This car is fun to drive and it gets compliments everywhere. I am selling this car for my 76 year old conservative driving father. He owns a home in Wisconsin and one in Florida. He purchased the car in 2011 and drove it to Florida in 2012 without any problems at all. He asked me to sell the car for him because he needs more garage space. The odometer on the car reads 66221. The original engine was replaced with a John's Chevrolet Conversion kit in 2008. The Jaguar's engine was replaced with a rebuilt 1978 Chevrolet 350 cubic inch small block engine. The engine is stock and runs great. There is less then 5000 miles on the rebuilt engine and 1500 miles of that was the drive from Wisconsin to Florida. The Good:New BF Goodrich T/A tiresNew brakesNew top New exhaustPerfect AC. working power top. new head liner. power windows. front and rear defrost. working seat warmers. power ABS brakes and power steeringRear glass windowClear Wisconsin Title in handThe bad:The only operational problem that I am aware of is the gas gauge is not accurate and the cruise control does not work. There is a rust spot underneath the drivers side rear quarter panel about the size of a silver dollar behind the drivers side rear wheel. There are a few scratches on the car that have been touched up with the wrong color red paint. Door ding on the passenger sidePlease don't hesitate to call me and I will do my best to answer any questions. My number is 813-787-3195. If I don't answer right away it's because of a work conflict. Also. don't let my screen name scare you. I have sold a few cars for family and friends and the name has caught on. Thank you for looking.
