Description of 1969 Jaguar E-Type Roadster

This is a super low mileage Jaguar that has just completed an extensive nuts and bolts restoration.
I have been a Jaguar Clubs of America judge, specializing on e-types, for many years and seldom have I seen a series 2 car restored to thisexceptional level. The cost of the restoration far exceeded the asking price of this vehicle. If you are seeking a true investor quality e-type ... payattention to the details on this car.
According to the current owner this e-type was put on blocks when the previous owner passed away. At the time it had only 9,702 miles. It took many yearsfor the estate to be liquidated and the son of the previous owner sold the car to its current owner in November 2007. The car was driven 300 miles and thedecision was made to do a ground up restoration as this was a very solid example. I believe the low miles as with the car I have the original interiorseat covers which are still in excellent condition. Also, I have the original wire wheels still with theoriginalDunlop SP sport tires.
The restoration took over 5 years and was just completed in 2016. The car now has only been driven 10,103 miles since it was sold and today itlooks much better than when it was new.
This is truly a show quality Jaguar, done to exacting Jaguar Clubs of America (JCNA) standards. The photos speak for themselves but this is thetype of car that needs to be seen in person to fully appreciate it. An enclosed trailer is also available and sold separately.
