Description of 1967 Jaguar 420 sedan

defects listed above, this is a "no reserve" auction !!! so one bid sells the car...the car had an engine swap {chevy v6} by previous owner who drove the car for 40 years, after a fuel pump died, the elderly owner parked it in a warehouse in delaware. i recently aquired it just to see if i could bring it back to life, it did not take much, installed 2 electric fuel pumps {one for each fuel tank} added some fresh fuel, charged the battery, and the CHEVY v6 fired right up, drops into gear, shifts good, brakes feel ok but pull a bit to the right, lights all appear to work as do the wipers, turn signals and the blower kicks on for the a/c and the compressor kicks on, will need a charge. engine sounds pretty good, don't know the actual miles on the engine. has dual exhaust and has a pretty throaty sound to it. drives pretty well for a 60 jag...good thing is maintanance of a chevy v6 is sure a hell of a lot cheaper. i would recommend flushing everything out and refilling with fresh oils and fluids and bleed out all the old brake fluid, again, it runs and drives and stops fine but after sitting for years, it would be the smart thing to do. the interior is not bad, seats are old but not ripped, headliner is intact and not bad, dash is pretty good on it. speedometer does not work and i can hear it clicking in the dash while driving, must be a broken speedo cable. body needs work in the lower areas, has rust in lower quarters under the paint as well as the lower rockers and fenders, the bumperas are not bad, the hood, trunk and rood are fine as is the top of the fenders and quarters and doors. has 5 67 jaguar spoke wheels..it is 2 tone silver and black, i suspect the original color was dark green. looks pretty cool as is, like a baby rolls royce..would not take much to make it a daily driver. even on the short trip around the bloc, i get tons of looks in it, it's just rich looking....tires seem ok too, this is a no reserve auction so any bid could win, so please don't be childish and bid if your not serious about buying the car. i may be able to deliver it locally to the phila/nj area for a fee, otherwise shipping is your responsbility, car does not leave here till payment is clear, checks take 10 days, postal money orders clear asap, cash is always king and you are free to come look it over first, ask questions now if you like and if you want photos of anything specific, let me know..car is in phila pa 19111.feel free to call for additional info at 215-713-8913
