Description of 1970 Jaguar E-Type Leather

Nice Coventry built 70 XKE (1st registered in US 1971) that I bought nearly 10 years ago. No power steering but it does have air conditioning.
Features the 3 big SU carburetors. New big bore chrome exhaust headers and straight thru system - sounds amazing! 250+ hp Electronic ignition.
New brass radiator and electric fans.
Recent interior looks like it just rolled out of the factory! Original low milage -
I bought it after the owner passed away. It had a secondary oil filter fitted. My mechanic said that he'd never seen an E-Type with such good compression.
I have all the original parts if someone wants to turn this back into a show car.
Comes with an extra set of deep wire wheels with racing tires. Also a set of whitewall cross-ply tires that have never been fitted. Looks incredible and stops traffic wherever I drive it.

Also partial trades + cash: Austin Healey 3000, Ferrari Mondial, Ferrari 360, Porsche 911

Had a few questions regarding the chrome headers, polished triple SUs, Brass radiator and electric fan system.

Just posted some pics of the wonderful work that was completed by the Jaguar specialists at Cloverleaf Auto in Malvern PA. Great guys. The labor was $5K and the parts were another $5K - but it really makes it a usable classic, with the performance of a new Corvette.

I have the original Strombergs in a box with all the other antiquated parts for you classic purist weirdo's :-)

I was reminded that I have another 4 speed gearbox with only 7000 miles from new, that I bought from a concourse car owner.

He paid a fortune to change to a non-factory overdrive. (like 150mph wasn't fast enough for him!...)

The spare gearbox comes with a lightened flywheel and clutch plate (both still in the box) It's a 2 hour job to drop the transmission and add these parts. I've seen these go for $5K alone - but the second (mint) transmission is included with the car.
