Running, Moving, Stopping MK IX up for bid. This was bought as a parts car/ possible restoration when i had a shop doing classic car work, when the shop sold, i kept this and another parts car (Also for sale in another auction). It has the original 3.8 and auto trans. Don't fool yourself, this car needs a complete restoration, or is a very decent parts car for someone needing motor/trans/chassis parts.It runs, actually starts quite well. It is running of the left tank of the car and an aftermarket low pressure fuel pump. There is a right tank there, but it needs cleaned out. The automatic trans seams to shift ok, though I haven't taken it up the road far. Brakes work, but the master cylinder is starting to drip a little. The body isn't horrible, it has primer on it to keep it from rusting, but it will probably need mostly sanded off before paint. The bottom of all the doors have rust bubbles/filler in them-RF door i ground it off and you can see the rust in the pictures. Floors have been patched, Trunk is decent except the drain hole below the spare in enlarged from rust. Couple dings and surface abrasions. Tires have some dry rot, but hold air. Most parts are present, but some will need refurbished or replaced. The interior is pretty, much shot, the door panels are good for patters, the seats are all there but need redone. All the wood needs redone. Chrome is mostly there in driver quality finish. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The only parts I know are missing are: LF, LR, & RR window glass-the vent glass and frames are all there (Just sitting in the doors at this time).
