Description of 1991 Jaguar XJS Classic

This is the last year of this body style on the XJS . Everything on the car is original except for the tires. It needs very little to be perfect. It has 36,000 miles, and has always been garage kept. Originally purchased in 1990 in Virginia, the second owner bought the car in 1994 with 23,000 miles on and put 13,000 miles on it over the next 24 years. I am the 3rd owner. The bad news for me is that I have the possibility of losing my garage so I have been selling things to downsize. The cosmetics are almost perfect. There are a few very small chips and flaws. The actual few small items most likely would have to be pointed out to you. If something looks like a chip in a photo, it's not. It's a flaw in the photo. The car will be amazing after a professional detail. The top, boot, etc. all look new as does the leather interior. I'm not gonna really go on, the car is beautiful front to back and underneath. No rust, no body repair, almost perfect. It comes with all of the original papers and a nice cover. Now, the stuff that needs sorted out. It did received all of the milestone services (1000 mile, 7500 mile, etc.) at authorized Jaguar dealers in Virginia and Ohio. You can drive it anywhere right from my door and it is fast, quiet and tight. There is a light shimmy at 30 ish MPH that is an obvious wheel balance issue. It shakes out and is never felt again at any other speed and is a super quiet smooth cruiser at higher speeds. The AC either needs serviced, or I don't know how to operate it. This car also has a nice factory stereo, but it requires a security code to unlock it. The last owner was in a nursing home and could not recall the code. Jaguar does keeps records of the codes but they requires you to provide the radio serial number which will require it to be pulled out. I only put around 300 miles on the car but it was smooth and fun. The photos should tell the rest of the story. Feel free to contact me with questions. I am downsizing so am not open to trading right now. The title is clear and in my possession. Thanks for looking.
