1978 JAGUAR XJS CHEVY 350 CRATE ENGINE CONVERSION (JOHN'S) WITH JUST OVER 12K MILES CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT WITH NO CORROSION, RUST OR COLOR FADING, AND NEAR PERFECT INTERIOR...except driver's side, original Jaguar floor mat is somewhat worn & discolored... 1978 Jaguar XJS Coupe with 97,7xx miles, with new(not rebuilt) Crate Chev 350 Conversion with just over 12k miles fresh from California. Car comes with vinyl folder weighing about 5 lbs. of documentation! It has a John's Conversion, done professionally by previous owners. Included in the conversion were a shift kit in the transmission, a high volume water pump to assure engine running cool and the r134a conversion. It passed California emissions prior to leaving the state. It runs, drives, stops and rides really great. The paint work is exceptional with no fading, chips or dents. The car has always been garaged, and since CA, only driven in the summer. The interior is near perfect as the seats had been covered since new with sheepskin seat covers. When removed the seats were revealed to show no wear, cracks, tears or separating seams. The headliner has been redone professionally; a perfect match to the interior. The glass is undamaged, including the windshield. Drives and rides, accelerates and stops perfectly...Also has a new set of Good Year Viva 3 tires with under 100 miles on them.All of the gauges, speedometer, tach included, work. Comes with spare, tool kit and trickle charger for battery since the car has been stored the past several winters. You will have a hard time finding a nicer one, and there is a reason the XJS has been voted one of the top 100 most beautiful cars ever made.
