1977 Jaguar XJ6C. Shows 1208 miles on speedo but Im pretty sure it’s turned over.The car is in excellent original condition. Just serviced. Starts, runs, shifts and drives smoothly.Extremely well taken care of. Never neglected or abused. Everything works.No noise, no smoke, no funny smells, no rust on floors or any of the places where these cars normally rust. Clean undercarriage and engine bay. I have looked well, over the whole car and there is no evidence at all of accident, repair or Re spray. Having said that,I am a decent assessor but not a professional expert. The leather interior is in good condition for its age.This car will drive cross country easily.The faults are as follows. All shown in photos.The drivers seat has sagged,The wooden dashboard is showing crazing,The armrest is cracked,The rear left armrest is cracked,The door panels are showing slight fading in color which you really have to look close to spot. There are a couple of dime size craze marks/cracks on the top of the drivers door,The rubbers around the windows are showing signs of age but do not leak or hinder movement of windows.The chrome on the back bumpers is shiny but showing signs of age,The paint is very nice overall but is starting to show fading in certain areas which will probably buff out with expert professional attention.This In my opinion is a great chance to buy a solid no nonsense XJ6C for a decent price which with very little effort and money can be a Top specimen. I try describe things as honestly and transparently as I would like others to do when I’m looking to buy.However,I am not an expert on all aspects of every motorcycle or car and things do slip through the cracks sometimes especially when I rely on previous owner descriptions. Please understand that descriptions, viewpoints and opinions vary between people. Please look at the photos and do your own evaluation. If you’re an aficionado,collector or plain crazy for wheels please feel free to look at my other items for sale or contact me for a full list.There are a lot of bikes and cars. It might be great for you as I’m going through my..…………. “hate myself for accumulating so much and not using†phase. I’m sure you understand the different phases we go through if you have the same sickness! And yes,I do know that I’m not selling a unicorn! I also know you can’t believe this but i haven’t been waiting only for you specifically and again unbelievable but true I’m really not desperate for your money so if you’re one of those guys............…… Intelligent questions and clarifications welcomed.
