Description of 1994 Jaguar XJS 6.0L V12 Convertible 2+2

1994 Jaguar XJS 6.0L V12 Convertible 2+2.
Clean, well-maintained, top-of-the-line, original example of a late-run Jaguar XJS. Treated as a collector car by current owner since 2015 (last 9000 miles). Not a “trailer queen” but driven regularly over the back roads of Coastal Georgia in fair-weather, never exposed to rain or inclement weather. Reliable, comfortable, and extremely smooth.
It’s been said that with the 1993+ 6.0L V12, Jaguar finally got XJS right – the car it was meant to be. Ford purchased Jaguar in 1989 and by 1994, production benefitted from much improved quality controls in both 6-cyl and 12-cyl models. The V12 engine upgrade from 5.3L to 6.0L enhanced both performance and reliability.

If you ever dreamed of being James Bond, you should consider this car. Fitting for a drive up to valet at Casino Royale, and stepping out in your tux/gown for a few hands of Baccarat… It has that kind of class and presence.
And if you feel that that automobile cupholders spawned the decline of Western Civilization, rest assured that this vehicle is one of the few still on American roads with NO cupholders – a throwback to a simpler time predating America’s passion for fast food, sports drinks, and obsession with constant hydration.
Classy, luxurious with a hint of sporty, yet affordable considering its $82,250 base price new in 1994 dollars (equivalent to $160,300 in 2022 dollars). The car still turns heads and gets attention 28 years later.
