Description of 1977 Jeep Other HONCHO LEVI

1977 JEEP HONCHO LEVI EDITION
This is a rare surviving jeep honcho with the levi option. The levi option primarily consists of denim on the inside of the door panels, nd the levi stickers on the outside. The truck was sold new in Kalispell Montana. The original owners manual and warranty card are included. This honcho is very original, nd has a/c. The honcho's are hard to find, specially one that is in solid original condition. The paint is original and has no filler. It run great and drives nice also. Here are all the details. More pics available. I also have a video of the engine running and can get a video of it driving.
IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR WOULD LIKE MORE PICTURES, MAIL ME. I CAN ALSO TALK VIA PHONE IF YOU PREFER. THANKS AND HAPPY BIDDING
MECHANICAL
This truck has what appears to be the original 360 V8. It all looks original and stock. I have not checked the numbers on the engine but judging from what I see, t's most likely the original engine. This was a grandpa truck, nd wasn't messed with. The a/c is all hooked up and may work. The fan does not come on when you turn the knob, o I'm not sure if it's charged or not. It's an underdash unit which either came from the factory or was dealer added. It could have been either way with a jeep. The truck drives really nice down the highway. Tires in the pics are not included. Other decent tires are not mounted on the these wheels. The transmission works great. Brakes and steering work as they should. All lights work. Radio works and sound great! (for an original radio from this era). The engine starts up nice and doesn't smoke. Doesn't tick, nock, r overheat. No water in the oil or oil in the water. This truck needs no major mechanical work that I can see. The 4x4 works as it should. It has the 4x4 engaging switch which I believe locks the hubs. It also has the floor shifter for high/low.
INTERIOR
The interior is in decent shape for an unrestored truck. The carpet is not nice and needs replaced. Seat and door panels are usable. I don't think the seat is ripped, ust has some fading. Headliner, ash pad, nd dash area are nice. Doors and windows work as they should. This has power steering, rakes, /c, nd tilt wheel. Seat is comfortable and interior is quiet when driving compared to many trucks of this era. Gauges work. There is no rust under the carpet. That is just a carpet pad in the pics, here the carpet is gone by feet area. Owners manual is included and original warranty card.
BODY
The box on the truck has rust. It is fixable, ut may be easier to find a different box for restoration. The inside of the box is in nice shape. Box floor supports are fine. Repair panels may be sold for the exterior box sections that are rust. The cab forward is in clean shape. Floors and doors are very clean. Frame is rust free with exception of usual surface rust. Salt is not an issue in Montana and this truck has always been here. One small spot of rust on the drivers front fender (very easy repair). No sign of any paint work ever done or any bondo. The honcho looks ok to drive now but will look sweet when restored and painted. Let me know if you have any questions. Glass is good. I'll have to double check windshield to see if it's cracked or chipped. I'm sure they're readily available though if it is chipped.
38 years old and SOLD AS-IS.
