Description of 1972 Jeep Commando

1972 Jeep Commando 4x4 304 V8 Automatic. It starts, tops, ides and drives as good as it looks. 4WD works great. This is one of the nicest Commandos you will ever find. It is clean and solid throughout. I have owned this Jeep approximately 2 years. The paint was new at the time I purchased it. After owning it a few months I decidedthat this Jeep is such a solid example that the whole Jeep should be brought up to the standard of the body and paint. I started by completely cleaning the underneath of the truck. I then painted the frame with chassis black, coated all the sheet metal with raptor liner as an undercoating, then added a new steering box, ew steering stabilizer, ews shocks all around. New brake hoses, ll new wheel cylinders front & rear, ew brake shoes front & rear, ew brake hardware kits front & rear, ew tie rod ends, ew wheel bearings, ew front hubs, ew dual exhaust. Under the hood I added an edelbrock aluminum intake, ew edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with electric choke, ew distributor cap, ew rotor, ew spark plugs, ew plug wires, ew vacuum & fuel lines, ew fan & fan clutch. I then cleaned and coated the inner body tub with raptor liner for sound deadener and insulation. I then added a new dash cover, ew pioneer CD player, ew speakers, ew tachometer, ew Jeep floor mats, nd new trim parts, ew decals. I also went through all the wiring to make sure all the lights, auges, tc. works as they should. I then had the front and rear bumpers rechromed, dd new side mirrors, ew windshield and gasket, ew rear glass and gasket. New headlights, ew marker lights and new taillights. Then I sand blasted and repainted the wheels added new hub caps and put on a new set of tires. The Jeep has less than 1000 miles since I have done all of this work. The only thing remaining to be done are the front seat bottoms, hould be recovered to be as nice as the rest of the Jeep because they have worn spots showing the foam on the sides. Overall this Commando is well above average of these vehicles. I am sure that I am missing something as I have done way to much to this Jeep to list in an ebay add.
