The Jeep Grand Wagoneer was the world’s first luxury SUV. Lined with plush leather, hick carpeting, cushy ride, fancy stereo, nd power-operated everything—doors, eats, indows, ven the tailgate glass—it was capable of transforming, t the flick of a switch, rom an insulated freeway cruiser to an all-wheel-drive snow- and mud-conquering monster. The stylish family car was not only a prescient innovator in the marketplace, arving out space for players such as Land Rover’s Range Rover, ut it also had something for everyone.
This 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is no different. I have had several of these and this is by far the best driving one I have had the pleasure to own. There is no rust at all since it was a West Coast Jeep for its entire life. It has been fully restored and is in perfect mechanical shape. All of the switches work, indows, ide mirrors, nterior lights, ct.
It has been professionally repainted in the original Grenadine Dark Red Metallic, he paint shines beautifully with just a few 1000 miles driven since the refinishing. That Grenadine Red Metallic is a perfect pairing against the wood paneling. The late 80's Grand Wagoneers were under a factory paint recall so a new correct refinish is an important & necessary investment. The wood siding & trim appear to be original to the Jeep. Thanks to the low miles, till in very good condition. There is the slight chip or two in the windshield but nothing distracting for the driver and the wheels, umpers and chrome trim exhibit only normal aging. The cordovan interior is in similar superb form, atching the beautiful exterior. That doesn't mean new or perfect of course but outstanding for sure. The power windows, ower seats, ower mirrors and the cruise control are all working correctly. The rear power window operates via key on the tail gate or dash board switch. This Grand is also equipped with up to date AM/FM/CD stereo. Similarly the air conditioning & heat have just been serviced & a ready to roll. This is a rare sunroof example and while locked in the closed position, t still draws the sunshine in nicely. The engine & transmission, long with the '87's other mechanical components have just been fully inspected and where necessary, ervice performed. She is running in great form and ready to be enjoyed as a reliable classic. The 4 wheel drive (High) setting, or highway/roadway use, s also serviced and ready. We do not service the 4 wheel (Low) setting for trails and mud bogging. That option freezes up over years of disuse and our current buyers, ost likely, ill never require it. The previous owner fitted a slight 3" lift to bring the ride height up to comfortable & modern SUV standards. Even those classic whitewall tires are wearing a full tread. Carfax & Autocheck both confirm this is a low Actual Mile Jeep w/ no accidents reported. Equally appealing, part from just the last 7,000 miles accumulated on the odometer, ll the road use on this Grand occurred in the comfortable climes of Washington State. Additional Fees and Taxes

All Kentucky residents must pay state and local tax, itle and license fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for their own state taxes and fees. All winning bidders are subject to a state Vehicle Inventory Tax of 6% the selling price and a Dealership Documentary Fee of $336.

Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company at a competitive price. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, ull payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.
