Rare is the time when I find one like this and when I do, it takes about three second to make a decision to own it. But that's me, been doing this for about 30 years now. Let's talk about you and this Jeep though. You are here because you are looking for a deal, but more than that, you are looking for a Jeep Wrangler YJ that hasn't been beat, modified or trashed. A very important aspect to buying a used vehicle is the assurance that the vehicle is mechanically sound, cosmetically in a condition demonstrating proper care and maintenance. I see thousands of vehicles at local auctions weekly, roughly 2500 to 3500 vehicles run across local auction blocks. Most are newer rental and lease returns but only about 10% are older local trade ins. Some dealers (Carmax for example) have policies that they do not keep vehicles that are in excess of 9 years old. No matter how nice, how low miles, how perfect their condition, they run them through the dealer only auction. It is these cars and trucks that I hunt for. After thirty years professionally appraising cars, I have a spotters eye for extreme quality. I know when I see a repaint, a rebuild or a uncared for vehicle. They stand with the masses. Everyone at the auction wants it too, but we all know we are in business and have to make a profit to stay in business so we are not stupid in how much we pay. Original Paint (Never Painted) Black rubber and bumpers look stunning without dry rot or cracks . . .

Amazing to me that the paint is so nice after nearly 30 years...seriously...it's unheard of with Jeeps to look this nice and still be all original...not to mention the rubber molding is in incredible shape and unmarred.

Although the paint is seriously nice for original, it has plenty of small rock chips on the front. You will be able to see them in the close up pictures below.

No accident history, tires have deep tread, everything works, nothing is broken . . .

Two speed transfer case, Dana 30 (front) Dana 35 (rear) axles, beefy skid plates and off-road tires keeps this gently owned YJ in the hunt no matter how rough the trail gets. Removable Soft top, doors and fold-down windshield are traditional Jeep favorites and a great stereo, this Wrangler is civilized for every day duty. Well taken care of, very few dings and small dents to be found and the right color too, this is the Jeep for you.

Full Size Spare, everywhere you look she's really spectacular for 30 years old, from top to the bottom, you'll be impressed. ..

Interior is all original and stunning to say the least and the sport wrapped steering wheel, tilt, cd/stereo and carpeted floor . . .

The only interior flaw is on the driver's entry side of the seat where the vinyl cracked...and that could even be replaced for under $150

Seats slide/tilt forward for easy rear seat access . . .

5 Speed Manual for Great Off Road Use. . .and great gas mileage too.

Miles are super low for a 30 year old Jeep . . . that's only about 5000 miles per year.

We decided to really give this Jeep a thorough detail and when we removed the interior, it was absolutely unreal to see the original floors in near flawless condition. ZERO RUST anywhere and looking like brand new. As a desert western Jeep, it has not been beat whatsoever. Really a stunner.

This reconditioning can sometimes take several days and I’ve converted a paint booth, especially prepared for the professional clay bar and polishing each car lovingly receives.

Usually, I’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch the temperature fall on a digital, laser thermometer pointed at an air conditioning vent. How many “dealers” will video a Lotus Esprit doing a buck-eighty? Wedo.
