Description of 1984 Jeep CJ Laredo

Up for sale is a 1984 Jeep CJ7 Laredo that recently underwent a full frame off restoration in May 2017 reborn to its original factory color of black with nutmeg interior. The Jeep has a powerful 6 cylinder engine mated to a rare automatic transmission, both of which were completely rebuilt during the restoration. Every part on this Jeep was removed and replaced withnew or NOS parts and it looksand drives like it just rolled off the showroom floor in 1984!Less than 300 miles has been put on this Jeep since the restoration work was completed. The interior is immaculate as you can see by the pictures. The dash pad, grab bar, steering wheel, center console door inserts, door handles and front and rear seats are all in pristine condition! The air conditioner is new and blows cold air throughout the cabin of the Jeep. All of the gauges and clock are fully functional and the vehicle has a tilt steering option. The Jeep comes with a roll bar cover and Whitco wheel house pads (very rare). Over $8,000 dollars has been invested in new parts and it shows in the fit and finish of this Jeep.

The tub and frame were completely stripped and powder coated to protect the metal to ensure many years of use and protection. The leaf springs were separated, stripped and also powder coated and brand new Monroe Gas-Maticshocks have been installed underneath. The brakes are all new and have been completely upgraded with new stainless steel lines. The fuel system also has new stainless steel lines, and stainless steel bolts were used wherever possible throughout the Jeep. The steering box has a new and tighter steering ratio from a Hummer, to include new Moog ball joints and steering linkage.

As for the exterior, over $10,000 dollars was invested in the paint job, with the finest paint and clear coat available on the market applied to the Jeep. All period correct stripes and graphics have been applied to the interior and exterior to include the Laredo badge. The top and doors have all been completely refinished and the interior light and rear door operate like new. I have owned Jeeps for the past 30 years, and it is extremely rare to find one with such low mileage in this type of condition. More than $40,000 dollars has been invested into this Jeep and it is a must see as the pictures really do not do it justice. Please contact me for more pictures or information as there is a limit to what I can post online. I also have pictures of the restoration process that I am happy to shareso potential bidders can see the work that was put into this Jeep.
