Description of 1983 Jeep CJ CJ8 |
| 1983 Jeep Scrambler CJ8 Frame off restoration. 90% all bolts replaced with stainless steel. New fiberglass body. Inside tub and under body sprayed with line X. Custom aluminum dash. Small block Chevy 350. board out . 040". Mild cam with chrome Elederbrock 650 4 barrel carb. Engine has a very nice lope at idle. MSD distributor and wires. 35" Cooper tires. 4 1/2" suspension lift. Shocks custom painted to match body. Vehicle built in South Florida to be a fair weather vehicle. we choose not to install hvac. doors or top. Jeep only has 260 miles since completion. Only known problem with jeep is 3rd gear synchronizer grinds slightly. If your looking for a jeep to take out on the weekend and turn heads this is it.
