Description of 1985 Jeep CJ STOCK

Today I am listing my pretty rare 1 registered owner very low mileage 1985 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler. I bought this vehicle last November and have come to the fact that I have too many toys and this one can be sold.
I purchased this Scrambler from the original owner who had it titled in July 1986 when it only had 1100 miles on it. That is the title you will be receiving if you are the new owner of this Jeep. I've never put it on the road because to tell you, I didn't want to turn the title in. I thought it was pretty special.
The Jeep has all the original running gear with only 25,355 miles. It has the 258CI straight 6 motor with a 4 speed manual transmission. Both units run and shift fine like they should. The jeep came through with a factory plug in engine block heater. I added the 4" pro comp suspension lift and 33x12.5x15 BF Goodrich tires and black wheels. It really makes it look beefy. The jeep has manual steering and no power brakes. The front rotors can use a turning from sittting awhile. All brake lines are in great shape. Muffler as well.
The interior is in great shape with nice CJ High back seats. All gauges work and all lights as well. It does not have a stereo installed.
The Jeep has been sitting awhile before I bought it and had undergone a mild restoration. The floors have been patched as well as the bed floor which has been replaced with diamond plate. The floor patches are solid and there are no holes in floors. The body too has had patches, but it is very hard to see. The black single stage paint still looks nice and shines well. The body has rust bubbles on the passengers fender and on the drivers side curved portion of the cowl above fender.
The frame on the scrambler has been plated on the drivers side on the bottom and on the inside for a good portion of it. The passengers side of the frame shows signs of small rot holes. I believe it was due to sitting and rodents made homes in the frame for years. There were signs of nesting pulled out. The rot is only on the inside of the frame rail. It doesnt appear to be structural. The frame is still very strong.
Please serious buyers only. You will not be disappointed. I drive the jeep around, i just use plates.
Overall this jeep is a nice unit. It is for sale locally as well.
SUPPORT OUR OFFICERS AND OUR TROOPS. THANK YOU!!!
