Description of 1990 Jeep Wrangler S

Reason for selling: My family wants me to sell this Jeep because I sustained a left foot injury preventing me from using clutch pedal for the near future. I’m not extremely motivated seller since I spent lots of money and time restoring my favorite car.

1990 2.5 TBI Jeep Wrangler.

I started with a clean rust free frame and body. Threw everything except axels and transfer case . I ended up rebuilding the entire Jeep, upgrading and improving everything I came in to contact with such the complete interior, electronics and all the mechanics. Rebuilt doors with new rubbers and seals. New windshield and front seals. New cloth top. Interior was removed, metal repainted and Dynomats laid down before new carpet was installed, The dash was dismantled, new metal panel used. Also installed side bars and two new bumpers.

Mechanics:

Replaced with Newly rebuilt:

Engine with new sensors, solenoids, vacuum lines, fuel injector, new EGR valve and new engine bushings. Has updated rubber air intake with relocated air temperature sensor.

New exhaust system; headers, cat converter and muffler.

Has rebuilt transmission and transmission mount bushings, vacuum front axle activator and all vacuum lines including transfer case’s vacuum switch.

Suspension: all Rugged Ridge and Rough Country

New sway bar links and bushings. Steering linkage bar. Double bump and steer cylinders with power steering brace reduced steering wobbliness.

Replaced shocks and leaf springs. Raised Jeep 4 inches and lowered the support skid plate to level torque shafts.

Installed all main and secondary ss brake lines, heavy duty brake booster cylinder with axillary vacuum canister. Rebuild front calipers and rear brakes. Replaced driver side rear spline shaft. Oil changed in all differentials.

Installed new clutch salve and master cylinder replaced, flywheel resurfaced.

all fuel lines, pump filter, strainer and fill up hoses replaced. Fuel tank removed and cleaned.

Additions:

This jeep also has 5 new aluminum rims with locks and 4 new BF Goodridge 31 inch all terrain tires. The rear has used BFG 31 in good condition fully pumped.

This jeep will come with pipe doors, cargo net and top Bimini cover for the summer driving. Jeep also equipped with 102 inch multifunction CB antenna, Pioneer car stereo with remote/usb and 40 channel CB unit. Fire extinguisher and 1943 WWII GI short shovel are attached to the roll-cage. Also installed are leather shift boots to prevent shifting issues in the winter, when rubber accordions are stiffens up.

Car will come with it’s own diagnostic computer, cables, programming cartridges, troubleshooting repair books.

This vehicle was qualified for the reduced yearly insurance premium through collectible car insurance administered by Hagerty. This vehicle is currently insured as a restored “collectible”. The restoration pictures from the original work performed are available from the Hagerty up on request. The paint on this Jeep is Rustoleum. It is dome for the purpose of quick re-spray and easy “spot repairs”.

Unfinished: Just installed speedometer gear for 31” tires. Needs to finish installation by installing new speedo cable. (on hand). The transfer case and more aggressive calipers will be desired if off-road driving is expected.

All Mechanical work was performed exclusively by Samy’s Auto Repair in Hicksville (renown 4x4 shop).
