Description of 1980 Jeep CJ Golden Eagle

Background:I have owned this 1980 Original Golden Eagle for over 10 years. It was pretty much rust free when I purchased it along with having a straight body and frame. Over the years I have turned this Jeep into a vehicle that could be driven on and off road in order to have both of best worlds and not to have to tow it everywhere. I first focused on the mechanical upgrades in order to get it super trail ready (as listed below).. then I went to work on the body restoration by removing, sandblasting and repainting all exterior panels and adding new decals. I changed out the original seats for Best Top seats, refreshed the carpet, added a center console – everything else inside is stock in order to keep the real CJ classic look and feel. All mechanical work was performed by a well-known Jeep 4x4 shop and the painting was completed by an auto body shop. This is not a pieced together Jeep – all critical work has been professionally performed. Check out the pictures – they speak for themselves. Minor imperfections so this is not a Show Jeep .. – it is a SHOW and GO Head turner Jeep! Take it to the trails or take it to the beach -

Note:As this was completed as a "Frame-On" restoration the following components were not refreshed:
- Interior paint (dash, floor boards etc.) was not repainted - however still looks and shines nice.- Engine Firewall was not painted. Fenders and grill were removed and painted however the firewall was not. (Engine was not pulled for painting)- Underside and frame was not cleaned off and repainted. No rust however. (its goingto get dirty off road anyway!)- Mechanically sound, drives straight, could use a tighter steeringbox (minor)- Due to transmission change speedometeris 10 mph off.- Jeep has 137,133 miles shown on the odometer. All major work as described above has seen less than 10,000 miles- More pictures provided on request
