Description of 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ |
| 1989 Jeep Wrangler with Ford Bronco Dana 44 front axle and ford 9" rear axle. Both have full time lockers and 4:88 gear ratio's and Superior Steel axle shafts. The front axle also has Warner hubs which can be manually unlocked for better highway use. Heavy duty front coil springs. New custom chrome molly front drive shaft and rear drive shaft has heavy duty u-joints. The jeep is powered by a later model 4. 0L fuel injected Jeep motor and automatic transmission. True bead lock rims with TSL 38" Super Swamper tires (with spare). Actual mileage unknown. due to not being the original owner and to many upgrades. Interior: Has later model front seats and roll cage. custom stereo/CD player and AUX jack for XM capabilities. Custom steering wheel. grab handles. CB radio and gun rack. I have had it since Aug. last year when I inquired it through a trade with a buddy from CA. The jeep crawls with the best of them and looks better then most with much higher price tags. It has been a ton of fun and gets a lot of attention wherever and whoever you come across. This is a street legal machine made primarily for off-road action. It has rock rash on bead-lock rims. it has scuffs and scrapes here and there underneath. as it should being a crawler. The body has no dents or rust. maybe one or two small dings. It was custom built by previous owners and a lot of time and money spent on it. Little things it needs: The new LED light bar in rear wired up to the toggle switch. Also needs the new front LED light mounted onto the front brackets. brackets for front light bar are brand new and will need slightly modified to fit the 50" LED light bar. Fuel gauge says full all the time. needs checked. Heater works. but will need to be hooked up to a toggle switch (have new one) or buyer to replace the factory switch. Have the snorkel hose. but hasn't been mounted. It has a newer Z-Gate automatic shifter on floorboard. but old shifter although disconnected is still on column. Parking brake is disconnected. Vehicle is sold in As Is Condition with no warranty provided or applied. Thanks for looking. /p> |
