Description of 1984 Jeep CJ Scrambler

1984 Jeep CJ Scrambler -extremely rare 1 of only 230 built for the Alaskan Postal Service. Restored about 10 years ago. Since I acquired it in November 2018 I have added; a period correct full Loredo interior including removable rear seat, original and correct chrome wagon wheels, rebuilt the original radiator, dash lights all replaced, KC Apollo driving lamps, LED headlight conversion, Full new Bestop soft top and split doors purchased 6 months ago(used only 3 times) Bikini top 7 months ago (used only 2 times), custom original jeep tailgate added without drilling into body so that original barn door can still be used. Most recently the full suspension was replaced with a BDS 2" suspension lift (new springs, shocks etc) and boomerang shackles added for a total lift of 2.5" on 33" BFG all terrain tires. I also added two new Autometer gauges for fuel and water temp so it has the most accurate readings for long trips. All dash lights changed out and I even have the chrome ring replacement piece for the faded second down indicator light shown on dash picture. All of front end components were replaced and alignment performed so you can drive this with two fingers on one hand at any speed. Engine is the original bulletproof 258 I6 with 101,300 miles on the odometer and runs flawlessly as does the original Chrysler 999 3 speed automatic. Everything has been replaced with OEM period correct parts. Only things I haven't gotten to yet are: The wiper switch is bad but motor is fine and the horn isn't working. I never take it out in the rain so I don't care about the wipers or the horn. This is garaged when not being used and is started and driven several times a week locally. The Steel Worldtop is extremely rare and worth several thousands alone but this one has the postal doors with the square top and rear barn door all in excellent condition as well. No rust anywhere on this jeep. If you don't like attention literally everywhere you go then don't buy this. This is a very rare and historic jeep that you will never see anywhere else let alone any one else with one. Only selling because I bought a new one that I am building up and need the garage space. Jeep was appraised when I bought it last year at $28,000 before any improvements. Over $31,500 invested. All reasonable offers will be considered.
