Description of 1978 Jeep CJ LEVI

1978 JEEP CJ7, LEVI Edition. RARE. 55K Original Miles. Best of the Best; Fully loaded, 304 V8, Automatic Quadra Trac, Factory A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, 8 Track Stereo, ALL ORIGINAL...engine, trans, body, upholstery, wheels, etc...never restored. I have never seen another like it with these loaded options, and colors. I believe it is the Golden Eagle based on all the options, including the pinstriped Gold Wheels. However it never had the big eagle decal on the hood. I have the factory original hard top, and a soft bikini top that matches the spice color LEVI interior. The Jeep lived in a fully enclosed "dry" garage, vacation home in Mammoth Lakes, CA for almost 40 years. I brought it to Carlsbad CA last year. Driven occasionally with only 55K original miles. I bought from original owner (my Brother in Law), however I have been driving the Jeep since new, so I can attest to the originality of it. Always very well maintained. The perfect original dash proves the meticulously maintained condition. Runs and rides super. All lights, and gadgets work! Other than standard maintenance, it has new stock height leaf springs (I have origs if you want to re-spring them), new radiator, new Autolite replacement carb (I have orig carb), new shocks, and everything else original. A few items to note: Front passenger fender has minor damage (crease) (it has for 30+ years), Drivers seat showing wear. Minor knicks, and dings here and there, original Stereo not working, Registration current in CA, however no smog cert on it since it is registered in Mono County. It does have some smog equip on engine. Quadra Trac works well however has the typical chugging when turned sharp, Hard Top has a sunroof in it (not sure if orig) and a chip on the back corner (I have the piece lol). All in all, this Jeep runs and rides excellent, a VERY RARE fully loaded CJ7, non restored...ready for a new home. Many restored Jeeps for sale, THIS IS AN ORIGINAL JEEP!
