Selling My 1987 Jeep Wrangler that has been in the family since the early 90s. It has gone through many build phases and the final build phase was just finished about 200 miles ago. This jeep has never been in any wrecks. It drives tight and straight down the road and works amazing off road. I have not had the time to use this jeep to its fullest so I have decided to let it go. Upgrades include Currie enterprises front and rear custom built Ford 9in axles with 31 spline shafts 4.10 gears and detroit lockers front and rear. The rear has Moser chromoly shafts. Front has Reid racing knuckles and dana 44 full size Chevy brakes, hubs and calipers. Bolt pattern is 6x5.5. Wheels are Trail Ready HD true bead locks with almost brand new 37x13.5x17 Cooper Stt Pro Tires. These tires are quiet and work well off road. The engine that was just installed is a fuel injected L33 all aluminum chevrolet 5.3 "LS" engine. This engine is an all stock high performance version of Chevrolet's 5.3 truck engine. Behind it is a just rebuilt 4l60e transmission with upgraded internals and features a large transmission cooler behind the grille. The transfer case is a Advance Adapters Atlas 2 case with a 3.8 ratio inside. Drive shafts are brand new custom built hd shafts from Arizona Driveshaft and run smooth even at 80mph. Brakes are Full size chevy disc up front and drum in the rear with pressure provided by a brand new Wilwood master cylinder and a hydroboost unit off of a 2005 suburban giving this jeep excellent stopping power with minimal pedal effort. Cooling is done by a custom built aluminum radiator with a custom fabricated shroud and twin Spall fans that are independently controlled by the Chevrolet engine computer and also come on with the air conditioning. Suspension is a spring over axle set up with pro comp front springs and brand new Rubicon Express rear springs. The rear axle features a custom fabricated shackled traction bar built by the famous Campbell Enterprises out of Gilbert Arizona. Shocks are brand new Bilstein 5100s. The front suspension features a shackle reversal for an improved ride. The gas tank is a custom 1/8 in wall steel tank with an aeromotive in tank efi fuel pump and has a 1/8in skid plate built into it making it a full 1/4 in thick on the bottom for protection. Fender wells have been tastefully opened up and Jeep Tj fender flairs have been installed to allow more tire clearance. On the hood is a poison spider hood louvor to allow heat to exit. The jeep is painted a beautiful pearl orange that really catches the sun light. Inside the jeep the tub was sprayed with Universal Bed liner. The Dash features factory gauges and everything works with the swap except the factory clock does not seem to function but there is a clock in the brand new Pioneer deck. Two brand new kicker speakers fit in the stock locations behind the dash. Mastercraft reclining suspension front seats and matching bench seat keep occupants comfortable and reduce fatigue. A brand new Vintage air magnum air conditioning and heater system was just installed to help keep everyone inside comfortable. All of the a/c hoses and the compressor are also brand new. Led headlights and tail lights provide on road lighting and 4 led pod lights, 2 spot and 2 flood pattern make night into day for night runs. Up front there is a Warn hd front bumper with a warn 8000lb winch and points for shackles for recovery straps to attach. Out back is also a Warn bumper with a swing away tire carrier and a matching wheel and tire. On the sides are custom fabricated and powder coated rock slider steps to keep the tub out of the rocks. This jeep has been professionally built and is not a back yard build. Everything was done with the intention of keeping it for years to come but I just do not have the time to use it. It is a fresh build but I did put over 200 miles on it and took it out one last time to make sure everything worked as it should. This jeep has never been abused and it shows. I will include a bikini top with the windshield channels as well as a set of color matched half doors that have not yet been re assembled after paint.
