Helping a friend sell a 1975 Jeep DJ5. This is a former postal vehicle that was re-manufactured in 1995 by Safari-Kar International, Inc. This is a 2 wheel drive model with a 232 CI inline 6 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. It has 1,381 miles since re-manufactured in June 1995. The engine runs great with plenty of power and the transmission shifts well. The body, paint and interior are in very good condition. There are no doors and only a bikini top. It drives and stops well, but there is some looseness in the steering that causes it to wander a bit. This is a relatively rare vehicle in that Safari-Kar was only in business for a few years in the mid-1990s and I believe that less than 800 were sold.
