Description of 1979 Jeep CJ Golden Eagle |
| 1979 Jeep CJ5 Project with the Golden Eagle package. Jeep runs and drives. I have been tinkering with this for the last year and drove it most of the summer for work. Has a re manufactured 258 6 cylinder with a reman factory carburetor. Power steering but no power brakes. Lots of work and new parts have already been added. Body still needs some rust repair. Tires are new with less than 1000 miles on them. Lifted with a spring over axle suspension lift. Tires are 31 inches tall but Jeep will fit 33's with no trouble. I have a tan vinyl top in good shape with another set of doors but no hardware for the top. Winch is a Warn 12000 pound pull and does not work. It needs a controller and solenoids. I have the original front seats and another complete set of front and rear seats to go with the Jeep. I also have a green right side front fender. I have the 5 Original Golden Eagle rims with the factory spare tire! Don't forget to check my other auctions for more cool stuff!! |
