Description of 1989 Jeep Wrangler SAHARA

1989 Jeep YJ Wrangler Sahara Edition 4.2L engine with automatic transmission & has only 130,016 original miles. Very low for its age! This Jeep has been recently lifted and serviced. New U-clamps, all bushings greased, new boomerang shackles front & rear, new battery installed, new thermostat & housing, new fuel filter, new valve cover gasket, engine oil changed, new transmission pan gasket and fluid changed, passenger door window crank has been changed, and drivers door replaced. Has new LED fog lights and bumper bar LED light. This Jeep runs and drives, no leaks. It starts up easily as well with a few pumps of the gas pedal it cranks right up. The carburetor could use some cleaning and adjusting to get it to idle properly. I think with some TLC this can be a daily driver again as previous owner did use it as a daily driver last year. It also has a/c (but needs refrigerant R12). The temperature gauge is not working therefore I suggest you replace it and the water pump (since it's 31 years old) and it's an inexpensive part ($32.00) to keep your mind at ease of overheating the engine. Everything else works. Has an updated stereo with Bluetooth microphone. All tires are in great shape with lots of tread. All the glass is in tack Car has some rust but not too bad for a 31 year old vehicle. I only test drove this Jeep around my neighborhood and it drive as it should. Didn't want to risk driving on highway since temp gauge isn't working. Comes with spare tire not shown in picture - exactly the same as the other tires and rims. The Jeep is ready for paint. I was planning on painting the vehicle with black bed liner paint but am holding off in case bed liner paint isn't your thing (and would be a sanding nightmare to get it off if you didn't want it). I will include 1 gallon of black bed liner paint and paint gun with sale of the Jeep. If you want I can have the Jeep painted with the black bed liner paint for an additional $300.00 (body man owes me a favor). Attached is a pic of a Jeep he painted 3 years ago with black bed liner. As a favor to me he will only charge $300.00 to paint it so if you want it painted you will have to pay for it. Or you can paint it yourself which doesn't look hard to do on YouTube.
