1969 Lamborghini Islero V12 GT "S" finished in Rosso Red over Tan leather interior. Cats Exotics is excited to offer this spectacular and extremely rare automobile - not only one of the most desirableLamborghini's, but one of the most desirablecars in the WORLD! One of only 100 EVER produced. It has received a no expense sparedextensivecosmetic and mechanical restoration in 2010 by Lamborghini specialist Gary Bobileff of San Diego in the OEMspecifications. The totals of this extensive restoration are well OVER $150,000. In today's money value it would easily top over $250,000.00 tocompletethis same work. The car has covered less then 120 km (75 miles) since the mechanical rebuild, and is beautiful overall condition. Currently showing and believed to be 59,858 ORIGINAL kilometers shown on the dash (37,194 miles).
Chassis number 6351, this Islero was the 54th example built out of ONLY 100 GTS models ever produced wordl wide.Featuring the highly desirable, higher horsepower 'S' variant V12 Motor. This matching numbers drive-train is conservativefiguresat 340bhp 3,929 cc DOHC V-12 engine with six Weber carburetors, five speed manual transmission, four-wheel independent suspension, coil springs, anti-roll bars, and four wheel hydraulic disc brakes. Beautifultan leather interior, woodgrain interior trim including steering wheel and power windows.
Prominently displaying the original Marazzi production sequence tag of 25179 in the engine bay as well as the chassis plate & VIN tag on the dashboard. Included with the car is an original sales brochure, owner's manual, and records.
