Description of 1974 Land Rover Other Series 3

About a year and a half ago my husband bought his dream project car. He named her Elsie. He got her working well enough to drive to work every day. He is a diver and this was his perfect beach car. Then. about a month ago. she died. My husband had her towed to his mechanic and over the next month they tried to overhaul the engine. Yesterday they towed her back to our house. Now Elsie is parked on our lawn. The engine is in the back of the truck and we do not know how to put her back together. I would like her off the lawn. I hope she will go to someone who has always dreamed of taking a Landrover on safari- or at least someone who knows how to fix cars. I'm sure she can be saved. Please feel free to ask many questions. I will do my best to answer them. The winning bidder must pay a $500 deposit within three days of the auctions end and she must be off my lawn by Dec 20th. I cannot help with the transport of this vehicle. There are a few very good things about this Landrover. First of all it is old enough that you can get antique plates for it so it only cost about a hundred dollars a year to insure. It has a clear title. recently there has been a rash of illegally imported Landrovers on ebay and people are getting there cars taken away- This is not one of those. And it's left hand drive.
