Up for sale is a beautiful 1972 Land Rover Series 2a Station Wagon. This classic SUV is the Station Wagon version of the iconic British safari vehicle which has a RoverDrive brand overdrive already installed and ready for use. It has what we strongly believe to be 95. 00 original miles but looks like it has much fewer. I have driven this car for a year as a daily driver and it performed awesomely. The Station Wagon version of the Series 2a is on a 109" wheelbase. has 4 doors and can seat as many as 9 with the rear jump seats installed. We have it set up as a 5 passenger with a large storage space in the back. You do not see many of these original right hand drive SUV's in the U. S. and this is the only one I've seen in the entire state so far. People always ask me if it's for sale and I always said no way! But now I'm in university and am not home enough to warrant keeping it. so it's time for someone else to enjoy it! The transmission has 24 different possible configurations with the 4hi. 4lo. and overdrive. ensuring that you'll always have enough gears to drive through any obstacle. urban or otherwise. You'll also never have to worry about having a spare tire with the Land Rover's dual spare tire configuration with one on the hood and one on the back to keep this beast moving through anything you or nature can throw at it. The four wheel drive works great and the locking hubs also work without any problems whatsoever! As is to be expected on a Land Rover of this vintage. the doors suffer from the Rover rust a little but it's nothing that affects the safety or reliability of the Landie. This Land Rover series 2a came from New Zealand and is an original right hand drive vehicle and is a real head turner and a pleasure to own. I understand that I will never recoup what I spent on her so the reserve is set at a very fair price. I am confident if you came to look at it you will fall in love like I did.
