1992 Range Rover Classic LSE 4.6

This has been my project truck. Strong and solid 199 Land Rover Range Rover LSE. One of only 400 made? Or so I've been told.

It has lived in the South West most of its life. Therefore, here is absolutely NO structural rust nor corrosion on this vehicle. There is a little corrosion on the tailgate top seam in one 1/2 inch spot.

Comes equipped with all the comforts, tandard features and amenities of its time, long with factory Tow package.

Now for upgrades:

I'll start with the simple things. Has Old Man Emu springs and Bilstein shocks. Near new 235/85/16 Goodyear Dura Tracs, ith brand new matching spare.

Custom made front and rear heavy duty bumpers. Rear is properly made swing out tire rack with 2 jerry cans mounted. Front is full bumper with very heavy bull bar and 12,000 lb winch mounted.

Has customized Wilderness roof rack (rack was extended and had expanded metal decking added).

Also has 52" LED light bar (VERY BRIGHT) connected to original factory fog light switch.

Has top of the line Cobra CB, nd upgraded Kenwood stereo system with amplifier.

The stock 3.9L engine was replaced with 4.6 liter out of my own 1999 p38. There were only 98,000 miles on it at the time. When it was done, eads were removed and completely gone through including valve job. New Stage 2 performance cam was installed along with new dual roller timing chain and new gears. Front cover was also converted to late model serpentine belt, o no more v belt issues.

Also had custom free flow exhaust installed.

Original intake and plenum was mounted, o engine still says "3.9" .

Transmission shifts well and has never had any problems. Shifts smooth. Has a little clunk when putting into reverse due to transfer case chain stretch. I was planning to upgrade t-case, ut didn't get to it. Does not have any trouble in low or high t-case selection.

Four-wheel Power disc brakes, ower steering, ower windows and Power seats all work fine.

Door handles/locks have typical Range Rover quirkiness, ut work. There is a remote starter included. I had it checked and bought new remote when I first got the truck, ut never really used it.

Exterior has been professionally sprayed with tinted bedliner for durability and character. This makes it virtually indestructible on the trails. THERE WAS NO PAINT FADE OR RUST PRIOR TO PAINTING. WAS SPRAYED FOR DURABILITY AND TO PREVENT CLEAR COAT ISSUES. THIS SPRAY DOES NOT FADE.

The original LSE leather upholstery was replaced due to poor condition when I purchased truck. Existing interior is in great shape, ith no tears. Only minor wearing on driver seat.

Headliner was just replaced and there is a custom lockable box in the rear compartment area. The box can be removed without damage to vehicle. It is not bolted in.

I have owned 6 Land Rovers in the last 6 years, o I know a thing or two about them. Also have friends in the Land Rover business. This was going to be my "forever" truck, ut new business needs funding.
