I purchased this truck two months ago and now need to sell it as my daughter's afraid to drive in it. Maybe I'll get another one day with a hard top. Since then, I have removed and cleaned out the gas tank, changed the fuel filters, rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the mirrors, adjusted the brakes, replaced all of the fluids, replaced the fuel gauge and driven it a couple of hundred miles. It starts right up, runs fantastically and is a serious eye-catcher. Here are it's known issues - needs frame work - at least on the outrigger as shown. The emergency brake does not engage, the windshield wipers work but need adjusting and replacing, it needs a tailgate, and a new paintjob. Other than that, it's in great shape for a 42 year old truck! I don't know anything about these things but have a mechanic who might be able to answer any questions that you might have.
