1987 LHD Land Rover Defender Tithonus

For sale is a 1987 (Ebay does not recognize the VIN of this vehicle - SALLDHAC8BA305917) Land Rover 110 hard top, direct from UK Ministry of Defense, in very good condition. I personally selected this vehicle overseas from a group of 60 vehicles. My criteria included low mileage (this vehicle shows only 11,245 KM on the odometer which translates to 7,031 Miles). Additionally, the truck has a very good chassis (frame) and body and a rot-free bulkhead (firewall).

This vehicle was part of the UK MOD's project Tithonus. Each Tithonus Land Rover was individually selected and fully refurbished by the MOD in 2007-2008 as part of the British Army LEP (life extension program).

The project was to extend the overall service life of the Land-Rovers by 10 years, from 20 to 30 years.
