Excellent and nearly all original 1986 Land Rover Defender 90! This truck was 1 family owned in the UK until it was imported to the US approx 3 years ago! It features the 2.5 Liter N/A Diesel engine with a 5 speed manual transmission, power steering and power disc brakes up front. All 5 wheels were just treated to a fresh powder coat and 5 brand new Wild Country All Terrain Tires. I have sold several imported Defenders and this one is one of the most solid, original trucks that I have encountered. The paint is all original and still shows extremely well for its age. The chassis is excellent with no patches, and still has the original rear cross member in fantastic condition (see undercarriage photos). We are currently importing other Defenders. PLEASE CALL ME AT 843-452-5551 FOR DETAILS. Condition Checklist Engine- Starts on the first turn of the key and runs great. Has good power for a non turbo diesel. The truck can cruise between 60 and 65mph. Transmission- Shifts perfectly through all 5 gears and reverse. All running gear just serviced with fresh fluids. Clutch feels strong. Steering- Does have power steering and it works exactly as it should. No weird noises and it feels very precise. Braking- Power discs up front and drum in the rear. All in good service with plenty of life. The truck stops very straight even when stopping in an emergency. Frame/Chassis/Body- The frame is in excellent condition. It doesn't have any notable rust, just some very minimal surface rusting (see photos). No patches welded in and the original rear cross member is in near perfect condition. The body is in great condition considering it still has it's original paint. There is minor bubbling on the doors but nothing major. It is very straight so a repaint in the future would be very easy if desired. Note - The VIN number listed above is from another 1986 Land Rover that I have previously sold.
