Description of 1951 Land Rover Defender

1st of all this is not a Defender but a Series 1 80" Land Rover, ebay USA has no matching listings for this model of Land Rover.
1952 Series 1 Land Rover 80" LHD. Original matching numbers motor, transmission, chassis and axles. This was not a barn find or a box of bits when i started the restoration. It was a fully running and driving vehicle and my aim with the restoration was to keep the car as original as possible. Every part has been sympathetically restored or reconditioned, replacement parts have been kept to the minimum and if a part was beyond repair then another genuine Land Rover item has been sourced at great time and expense rather than fit any modern reproduction items.
Very nice original 2.0 petrol engine, no rattles or leaks. It pulls very well with no flat spots or issues and sounds/works exactly as it should. The transmission is perfect as are the differentials along with the rest of the drive train with no funny vibrations rattles or noises. The pictures of the Land Rover form part of the description, i am not going to itemise everything done as it was fully restored so the list is endless but feel free to ask any questions or for more pictures. As you can see from the pictures it is now ready to enjoy.The Land Rover is located in the UK but i will deliver it to any port of your choice in the UK free of charge and help with shipping etc where possible
