3. 9L 1992 Range Rover County 159k Original MilesNo Reserve! Overview:This is a very nice ONE-OWNER 1992 Range Rover County . No expense has ever been spared in the preparation and care of this vehicle and it shows; I have over $10. 00 worth of verifiable receipts in hand that go with its sale. This Rover is in very good mechanical condition - I just drove it on a 400+ mile trip last weekend and it performed flawlessly. Everything is working with the exception of the sunroof (motor is working but roof does not retract) and the heated seats (fuse or relay?). All windows retract. power door locks function as expected. and the power seats work perfectly. The headliner was recently replaced. which looks fantastic. The paint is original and shows wear consistent with the vehicle's age. The only notable flaw on the body is a small ding on the upper left corner of the rear tail-gate. which can be seen in the photos. Range Rover Classics in this condition. are extremely rare to find. Service History:Service means reliability. Reliability is your key to long-term product enjoyment. Anyone who has a Land Rover will tell you the same. and perhaps you already have a few yourself and understand this already. As a fellow collector. I know how important routine maintenance is - especially for Classics. I have compiled a list below. which details the most recent service and maintenance items that have been replaced / serviced:Both front CV axles and wheel bearings have been replaced within the last 500 miles - there is no "clicking" or other noises present. Oil change and new Bosch spark plugs. Bosch wires. rotor arm and cap within the last 500 milesNew fuel filter within the last 100 milesRadiator was cleaned. pressure tested and flushed. New coolant was added to the system. This was done within the last 100 miles. ABS pump and nitrogen pressure ball replaced within the last 500 miles - ABS is functioning perfectly. New front brake pads and brake fluid flush within the last 500 milesTires are in excellent condition. with approximately 80% tread life leftNew Bosch 110 amp alternator replaced within the last 500 miles - the charging system functions perfectlyNew A/C belt within the last 100 miles - A/C has been converted over to R134ANew battery within the last 500 milesNew headliner installed within the last 5k miles - it looks excellent with no saggingNew exhaust system within the last 500 milesOver 10k of additional maintenance receipts. not including any of the repairs above **Operation and Aesthetics:This truck is in great condition. This Rover has been kept in the Southern U. S. . which is the reason it is virtually rust free - there are not visible signs of rust to speak of. Please see the photos of the upper tail gate. which is in excellent condition and the lower tail gate. which is prone to rot on these vehicles - no rust on this one! Notice the upgraded factory sound system. which sounds fantastic - the original subwoofer works as it should. which makes for a great listening experience. The dash still has its original luster. The seat bases and mouldings are in good condition. The Range Rover floor sills are uncracked. unscuffed. The interior is incredibly clean and the wood-work still glistens and provides an added feeling of warmth as seen in the photos. The fully serviced 3. 9L V8 roars to life and surges onto the motorways with TOTAL CONFIDENCE and has no stumbles or hesitation of any kind. Factory tuned coil springs paired with Bilstein shock absorbers handle very well. The transmission is smooth and performs as you would expect. She has been tested even this last week with warm temperatures in NC. in bumper to bumper traffic. NO overheating from this truck. All power options work as they should: power seats. power mirrors. windows. lights. As previously mentioned. the only options that are not working are the sunroof (the motor does work however it does not retract the sunroof) and the heated seats (fuse or relay?). That said. this is also A NON SMOKER VEHICLE. This vehicle is a blast to drive for many reasons. If you are looking for a one-owner Classic. that has always been cared for and is completely reliable. this is the truck for you. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION so you are bidding to win!
