For Sale: Green 1989 Land Rover Defender 2.5 turbodiesel engine (19j) 5-speed manual transmission 80K miles LHD (left hand drive)VIN: SALLDVAB8FA359503 (US/ebay systems do not recognize this VIN as it is non-standard/european -- this vehicle has been imported from Europe) Clean Colorado title and Colorado license plates. *Really this is someone's project. If I were tp keep any of these then I will give them a lift put on some bf goodrich all terrains or mud terrains some jerrycans and other off road equipment etc etc etc. The more I do to any of them the higher the price will be but I wanted to give someone a solid "blank slate" to run with. I have a 1988 grey one of my own with a full external cage 2" lift and some all terrains if you want to see some of what can be done to these beasts! (I also have a 1984 RHD v8 purchased just north of london about 2 years ago when I went on a trip to find my first defender;). I love these cars. My thought is that these can be driven as-is with some minor work upgraded in bits and pieces over time or go immediately for a full frame-off restore.
