Description of 1990 Lexus LS Luxury Sedan

This is a mint condition, 1 owner 1990 Lexus LS400, with no accidents. This is the first year of the flagship model, the start of Lexus. They only made these once upon a great time in the automotive history, greatest car ever made, cannot be bought new again. Pictures do not do it justice, you have to see it with your own eyes and feel it with your senses, and of course drive it, to experience it. You can buy many cars, but this one is special. First, the best, the luxury car that sent German and British engineers back to the drawing board. Detroit was still light years away. It was garaged since new. It was purchased at Plaza Lexus in Creve Coeur, MO, a suburb of St. Louis. The copy of the original sales contract is included with the sale, as well as the owner's manual, Lexus dealer directory, with the business cards of the original sales managers, safety and emission inspections, clean MO tittle. This vehicle is exceptionally clean, as is reflected in the photos. The original Lexus first aid kit and the tool kit are untouched, still wrapped. The interior still smells like a new car. The leather is still soft and supple, with no cracks, no wear spots. The steering wheel and the shift knob look brand new still, as well as the center console, and the driver's seat, along with every part of the car. It makes you feel guilty sitting in it because it is so nice at being among the first 20,000 Lexus' ever made, and this being the 30th anniversary, as close as you will ever get to sit in one brand new, truly a time capsule. The new price was close to $40,000. Dirt is non existent on this vehicle, in any crevice. Paint has been hand polished and hand waxed, and is smooth as glass. The clear coat is immaculate, so is the paint, and the only imperfections on the car can be seen on the last three pictures. The spot on the driver side bottom of the front bumper, small dings on the passenger rear door and the two scratches on the back bumper, which are barely noticeable and a small scratch in the clear coast above the Lexus logo on the trunk. Most of these would not be noticeable, but I am pointing them out since this vehicle is in more pristine condition than some Lexus' selling that are under 5 yrs old, with double and triple the price tag. The small dings came from a Mercedes that was parked next to it, and did not get noticed till later since the Lexus was garaged with a cover on it. Dings can be taken out with paint less dent removal reasonably, as evaluated by Plaza Lexus, but since trying to keep this vehicle 100% original, will leave that up to the next owner. I hate to take away from it's originality. Everything in the vehicle works, including the automatic climate control (heat and a/c), radio, power functions, power seats, power windows and locks, sunroof, auto dimming rear view mirror, holographic instrument cluster display, trunk release. It has 4 standard keys and 2 wallet keys, all laser cut. The wallet keys do not open the trunk and you can enable and disable the remote trunk release through the standard key only. This car was way ahead of it's time and it still rides and looks nicer than most cars today. It is 100% rust free, including the spare tire compartment, which looks brand new, as well as the chasis itself, with absolutely no oil leaks. The undercarriage looks factory new still. Last time in the shop while on the alignment rack, it had every technician and every service writer coming to awe and check it out. This is a very special car, with lots of power, a 32 valve V8 that puts out 250hp, attached to a greatly tuned 4 speed automatic transmission, has great acceleration, great comfort and it puts a smile on your face every time you drive it, and turns lots of heads. It has not been a daily driven car and it has not been driven in snow or bad weather, besides some rain on the way to Florida and back. It has never had children or pets drive in it. The car feels and looks like a new car, and I have seen a few of these sell for over $30,000 with the condition not even being as nice as this one here. Please contact me with any questions and I will answer them promptly. After the initial deposit, the vehicle will be ready to be picked up immediately and will be turned over after payment exchange. The rest is due within 7 days of the auction close. The deposit is non refundable, so please get ahold of me if there are any questions before bidding or choosing buy it now. I would be glad to meet at the location of the buyer's choosing, such as a close by bank to finish the transaction. The buyer is welcome to fully inspect the car before delivery or payment. The buyer is receiving a clean MO tittle with the vehicle and the paperwork pictured. The vehicle is sold as is, no warranty. It does not leak any fluids and all the maintenance is up to date. It is fully functional and road ready. This might be your last chance to own a piece of automotive car history such as this car, with 50,475 original miles on the odometer. The life expectancy of these cars is 300,000 miles, with many on the road still with way more miles than that. Recent service this summer included a new battery, new tires, alignment, coolant flush including both new radiator hoses, serpentine drive belt, air filter, oil filter and oil and a new transmission filter. It will be hard to find a classic Lexus or any other Japanese classic in this kind of shape. It truly is a one of a kind. The car is located in St. Louis, MO, for anyone that would like to check it out, it is 30 minutes from the airport. The only other place where you can buy something similar to this if available will charge the buyer a fee that is 5% of the purchase price. Here is your chance to avoid this. If you are a serious buyer, please do not miss out. Please contact me, do not hesitate. I will do my best to accommodate you, a fellow car lover, and look forward to passing on this piece of history. Good luck bidding and Thank You for keeping Ebay a great community.
