Description of 1976 Lincoln Continental

1976 Lincoln Continental Town Car Bicentennial Edition. The perfect example of true originality, own to the original Michelin tires. This vehicle is part of my late grandfather's Lincoln collection. He was the original owner of this car up until his passing last year. Kept in a climate controlled garage in Florida where it spent all it's years, ntil I acquired his estate last year. This vehicle has absolutely no rust anywhere and was Zeibarted when new. The original paint and chrome shine like new. The actual carpet was never stepped upon. It was covered and protected by a home carpet remnant when new, hich can be easily taken out if so desired. Mechanically, t operates as new. Engine with original carburetor runs flawless. It has been professionally inspected. The brakes (shoes, ads, ubber hoses, alipers and wheel cylinders) have been replaced this past month as preventative maintenance. The upper and lower radiator hoses were also replaced. All gauges and A/C climate control function like new. The only things that do not function are the clock and the electrics of the right rear door (window, eading light and lock). The rest of the windows and power seat are flawless. Indeed, his vehicle is worthy to be displayed in a showroom. Personally, would drive this car from Michigan to California in a heartbeat. Remember, he tires are the original Michelins and are almost 40 years old. They do not lose air, ut if you plan to drive it back home, eplacement is recommended. I have described this vehicle as best as possible, ut I strongly encourage inspections to all potential bidders. The vehicle is sold "as-is" without any warranty whatsovever. The reserve is set quite low for a vehicle of this era and condition to give everyone a chance to own this piece of history. Until that reserve is met, he vehicle will remain mine. I'm definitely not in need of money and honestly, don't need to sell this car, or will I negotiate or disclose my reserve. It is fairly set within the current market values of NADA. Don't waste my time or yours, on't contact me with any kind of offers. If your feedback is lower than 10 or you have negative feedback, o not bid before contacting me, ecause your bid will be cancelled. I will only sell to buyers in the United States. Payment in full is due 3 days after auction ends. I only accept cash, r U.S. bank certified cashier's check (ONLY FROM A MAJOR UNITED STATES BANK) which must clear by my bank before I release car and title, process which generally takes 3 to 5 business days. A $500 non-refundable deposit via paypal is due immediately after the auction ends. Shipping is at the buyer's own expense.
